Bike Problems

I have been having some problems with my bike and think that I need to get the front crankset and probably the back cassette replaced and maybe a few other things. I was a little bummed about this and then realized that since I bought this bike in 2012, I have ridden more than 31,000 miles on it. I’m not sure what the life expectancy of most bike components is, but I think 31,000+ miles is probably pretty good for most things.

I needed to take my bike in for repairs, but didn’t want to miss a ride, so I bought a less expensive bike yesterday to ride while getting my primary bike fixed.

During inclement weather, and let’s face it, when is the weather in Oklahoma not inclement, I use an indoor bike trainer from Kurt by Kinetic to ride in the evenings and avoid the nasty weather and less than courteous drivers.
